Dog vomiting and bloody diarrhea: What home remedies can I use?

I wish there was a home remedy for this, but there is not. Tino is very sick, and his symptoms are well beyond home remedies. He needs IV fluids, drugs to stop the vomiting, and possibly antibiotics. You need to get into the car with him, and take him into the closest vet to you now.

Aw poor Jacky Gill! I'm very concerned about the blood in the vomit as this can indicate serve Gastrointestinal inflammation or ulcer formation. Jacky should see a veterinarian right away as he likely needs prescription medication to stop the vomiting and diarrhea. He may need fluids to help rehydrate him. It may also be a good idea to have X-rays done to ensure there is no intestinal blockage. Once he has received medical care a bland diet of boiled chicken and sweet potato or rice may also help him recover. Yes, I recommend to keep that appointment. Scarlett has significant inflammation in her intestines and she may start getting dehydrated if she is not drinking well. A bland diet is something you can o at home which can help. A bland diet can consist of 25% boiled white meat chicken and 75% boiled white rice. This should all be plain. Persistent vomiting, bloody diarrhea and lack of appetite are emergent clinic signs due to fluid/electrolyte losses. This leads to dehydration, weakness, and further downward deterioration unless the vomiting stops and the appetite returns. I would advise taking Daisy to your vet as soon as possible to have her evaluated. Many causes are possible including intestinal parasites, dietary indiscretion (eating things dogs aren't supposed to), other dietary problems, gastrointestinal inflammation/infection from various sources, toxin exposure, foreign body ingestion, GI ulceration, side effects from drugs or products used, or even problems outside of the gut including pancreatitis, liver/kidney problems, among many others. Your vet can get a detailed history and perform a thorough exam. Once done, a diagnostic plan and preliminary treatment plan can be started. Most likely a minimum database of fecal/blood/urine tests and some x-rays will be advised. Treatment will be focused on the cause but early treatment could include fluids/electrolytes, anti-nausea/vomiting medicines, acid blockers, etc. Good luck with Daisy.

If Sky has vomiting and diarrhea she needs to see a vet. Unfortunately her symptoms are very vague and could be from any illness or disease process. If Sky is a puppy I would be very worried about parvovirus. If she is an adult my first guess would be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Either way, she needs to see a vet. Please take her as soon as possible.

I'm sorry to hear that Pickles is not feeling well! Vomiting and bloody diarrhea can occur in young puppies as a result of parvovirus, other intestinal viruses, parasites, or an upset stomach from changes in food or medication. Young puppies are more susceptible to the effects of dehydration and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar - typically caused by not eating or excessive vomiting) than adult dogs. At this point, the best thing to do is take Pickles to a vet immediately. The vet will be able to examine her, perform any necessary testing (possibly a stool test, parvovirus test, blood tests) so that the most appropriate treatment can be started. With the severity of Pickles' clinical signs, there are no home remedies that are likely to be even remotely effective. I hope that she is feeling better soon!

Duke is extremely ill, and he has to see a vet now. This is not something you can treat at home. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
