My dogs puked bile, grass, white chunks, and won't eat. Is it food?

I would take Lady into a vet. When a dog has been vomiting for more than 24 hours, then it is time to seek medical attention. This vomiting could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. Please take her into a vet now.

If your pet has vomited this much in the past 45 minutes I would be very suspicious of a foreign body or a very intense dietary indiscretion (eating something he shouldn't have). I would recommend you start supportive care (like Famotiidne 05-1.0mg/kg every 12 hrs and a bland diet like Purina EN Gastrointestinal canned food OR boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. It could be either dry vomit or dry feces (if the it smells like food, it is more likely to be vomit though). Just to be on the safe side, start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. Sonetimes dogs get a bit of a tummy upset called gastritis. It can be caused by eating something rancid or an infection. Sometimes they simply have too much acid. Eating grass is a sign the tummy is sore. He will likely be a little unsettled but if he is not continually vomiting I would let him rest overnight then take him to the vet in the morning g if he is still poorly. Don't feed anything At the moment.

I agree that it is likely vomit and not poop. The Long object could be a worm, but also resembles a plant stem to me. Since she was eating grass I suspect she could have also been consuming other plant materials. I would, however, recommend that you take a poop sample to your veterinarian to have it tested for parasite eggs to make sure that she doesn’t need any medications. Lola may have been eating grass as well if she had an upset stomach, and that could cause the color of the vomit. Keep an eye on her for now, and if she vomits again, have her seen by a vet.
