Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 30 lbs

My pup just finished 9 days of Clavamax for escalated WBC count. Since last night she has vomited 3 times. Vomit is foamy white and bile. Can I give her Zantac.

You should not give any medications and especially human medications without a direct prescription from the vet treating Kitsu. I strongly recommend you contact the vets office and advise them of the new symtpoms, although some vomiting after antibiotics can be quite common t may also indicate she has not fully recovered. A probiotic supplement can eb helpful also to reabalnce the gut following oral antibiotics.
