Why is my dog throwing up, shivering, and her legs are stiff?

Sometimes weakness in the hind limbs can be caused by things like dehydration. Vomiting can be indicative of conditions such as gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal obstruction, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly. This sounds like a medical emergency and you should have Puddin seen right away. The potential cause for her signs are a slipped disc in her back causing pinching of her nerves going to her back legs (Intervertebral disc disease), trauma, spinal infection, a spinal tumor or a toxin. The veterinarian will want to perform a through exam and localize the pain. They will also check Puddin's neurologic function which will help to determine if her signs are due to a spinal problem. If her signs worsen and she can no longer walk on her back legs, she may need an MRI or surgery. Please have her seen, good luck.

This is very suspicious for a lesion in the spinal cord, such as a prolapsed disk or a sprain or other trauma or condition that impacts the nerves exiting the vertebrae, She may also be suffering from meningitis or encephalitis, as this can cause nausea and vomiting and stiffness of the neck. Please take Charlotte to a veterinarian or Pet ER now. Blood tests will need to be done and possibly x rays. This is obviously a painful condition, so she will definitely need pain medicine .

It sounds like Nino may be in pain or weak, and I'm quite concerned about his symptoms. It's worrying he can't eat and he's throwing up, and I think he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into one immediately.

I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian. I am concerned she is shaking after episodes of vomiting. You can take her temperature at home. Normal for a dog is 99-102.5. Unfortunately many things can cause vomiting like indigestion, foreign material, infections, pyometra, toxins and foreign objects. Since she is not feeling well a vet visit will help break down what is going on for proper treatment.

Yes, I recommend to have Grima examined today. I'm concerned she is in pain and that she feels really bad. Additionally, with the advent of the vomiting red, I'm concerned she might be puking blood and it sounds like the condition is getting worse. Just like humans, there are many different things that will cause the same clinical symptoms. Grima could have severe pancreatitis, a pyometra or even something like cancer. She may be dehydrated from the vomiting and the shivering may not be due to her being cold but may be due to her not feeling well.
