My dog threw up a worm. What kind is it and how do I treat it?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 35 lbs

My dog vomited this morning and there was a worm in it. Here is a picture What kind is it ?

Thank you for the picture, it's very helpful. That looks like a roundworm. Jessie needs a deworming treatment, I recommend Drontal or Panacur. Give her a dose of Drontal or Panacur now, then another in two weeks. After that, she should get the medication once a month to prevent further issues with worms. I hope this helps!

    Pictures can be deceiving and a sample submitted to your vets office would be most accurate but this looks like a long, thin roundworm. I recommend treating with an oral deworming tablet suitable for his age and size
