Yes, I would be a bit worried. I suggest you take him back to your vet for a recheck exam. It is hard for me to give advice without seeing the issue. If he needs a bandage then the vet can place one so that his foot doesn't swell. They may not want to do this as bandaging can cause moisture build up. You will need them to make that determination. Continue massaging the foot. It may take some time for swelling to decrease. I would try warm compressing it. Depending how long it was tangled she could potentially slough skin or tissue off her foot. Get her to the vet as soon as you can if there are areas of cold or ulcerated skin, she stops using it or is painful or not using her leg.

Yes, the circulation was compromised but the nerves could also have been damaged. My hope is that with time the nerves and vessels will return to normal. This most commonly happens when a string or piece of towel or blanket gets wrapped anound the foot. Please check it carefully to make sure nothing is stuck on it stopping the circulation. Then you can soak the foot in warm water and massage it to increase the circulation which should reduce the swelling. Do this several times a day. Make sure he’s still eating and is kept warm. The most you can do at home is to place an e-collar (cone) on Gracy Kay to prevent further licking and to limit her activity to leash walks for elimination. We would not (and legally cannot) recommend any medications in the absence of a physical exam. She needs to be seen by a veterinarian for a definitive diagnosis and treatment. X-rays may be indicated to rule out fractures, tumors or foreign bodies. Any treatment will depend on the diagnosis.

The leash must be removed immediately to relieve the obstruction of the blood flow. If the leg is evidently distorted or broken or her foot is cold to touch she needs urgent vet care otherwise monitor for a reduction in swelling and discomfort over 12 hours or so

From the photo this doesn’t look too severe. You can wait until tomorrow If you can massage her leg for 15-20 minutes to get the circulation going. Having her walk around will also help decrease the pain and swelling. I would continue the massage and walks until the foot is back to normal. This looks like it will improve quickly but if it’s still swollen in the morning please take her in for an exam.
