My dog's nose is swollen, tongue out, antibiotics not working?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 3 months old

Swelling of nose has happened with my pet. He is unable to breathe from his nose and so has always his tongue out for breathing. He is not responding to any of the antibiotics as suggested by vets. Please help he is in so much pain.

I'm sorry that Sheru is having this issue. Swelling like this can be caused by many different things:

* allergic reaction
* infection and/or foreign body
* auto immune disease
* cancer

If the antibiotics have not helped then you will need to get Sheru back to the vet for another evaluation. He may need a course of anti-inflammatories or some additional testing to see what is causing the swelling. There is really not anything we can tell you to do for this over the internet, I'm sorry.

Please get Sheru back to your vet for a follow-up exam as soon as you can. Best wishes.
