Poor Baldric! This swelling could be due to trauma, it could be a lymph node swelling due to a localized infection or tooth problem, a reaction to an insect bite, or it could be an abcess. If he shows up additional signs tonight such as difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, extreme lethargy, or anorexia, then I would take him into a vet right away.

It sounds as though your vet initially suspected an infection causing the swelling around Lexi's neck. There can be some very minimal fluctuation in the prominence of the salivary glands and lymph nodes that are located under the neck, which can certainly occur with infections. However, other conditions can also cause swelling in these areas. Puppy strangles (also called juvenile cellulitis) is an autoimmune condition that can cause some pretty prominent swellings around the neck. Given Lexi's age, this would be my first suspicion. Other issues, including lymphoma or a salivary mucocele, are always possible, although they'd be highly unlikely in such a young puppy. At this point, I think your next step is to take Lexi back to her vet for a follow up visit. Your vet will likely want to run some diagnostic testing on this swelling or even some baseline blood work to check her blood cell counts and organ function. Depending on their findings, they may prescribe steroids to help treat puppy strangles or another medication to treat a different condition. I hope that everything goes well!

Unfortunately, without an exam or testing it would be hard to say what can be done to help. A good first step is to try and find the cause of the sinus and throat swelling through bloodwork, X-rays, exam, etc. Possible causes may include an allergy to something in the environment, an allergic reaction to a bite or sting, food allergies, illness, infections, growths, etc. As the treatment varies depending on the cause, finding the underlying cause is best. Treatment may include medications such as allergy meds or antibiotics, or additional tests or procedures to help reduce symptoms.

You can try a warm compress every 6-8 hours to see if that helps the swelling decrease. It may be from an insect sting or bite. If it doesn't resolve in a couple of days or gets worse I recommend taking Maisy to the vet to make sure something more serious isn't causing the swelling.

Coco may need to be examined again by the veterinarian. That treatment is generally used to treat an allergic reaction but if it isn't helping, then it may not be an allergic reaction. Pets can get a bacteria-related celluitis or if there is a blockage of the lymphatic system by a tumor. Coco likely needs to be re-examined and may need a chest radiograph to look for any masses or other explanation. Dogs can get edema but it's not common. It's time to go looking for other causes. Poor Sheru! Without seeing him in person, I can't say what is causing this swollen wound, but he could have injured himself or been injured by another dog. He needs to see a vet for this problem, as I cannot suggest a cure without seeing him. The vet can diagnose what is causing the wound, and how best to treat it. I would take him into one today.
