My dog swallowed a small piece of beef chew. Will he be okay?

These seem like they would be pretty digestible, so I wouldn't be particularly concerned. If the chew was lodged in the esophagus I expect you would notice coughing, gagging or regurgitation. You should still monitor Marvin for those signs and for any vomiting, decreased appetite or diarrhea.

It sounds like whatever Chewy had stuck in his throat has passed. Since he is acting normally, keep an eye on him for now. Should that behavior start again or he stops eating, take him into a vet immediately. Best of luck.

I do not see any need to worry at this time. If it was stuck in his throat, then he would be continually gagging and coughing. There is also not much of a chance it would be causing problems in the stomach or intestines, because these are digestible. Signs of a blockage are: not eating, not pooping, vomiting, and acting very depressed/painful. If you happen to see these signs, then this would warrant an urgent trip to the vet. Otherwise, he seems to be doing OK, so I wouldn't be concerned. I hope that helps and all is well with Coby.

I am sorry to hear about Zeus! Hopefully this piece is small enough it will pass through the GI tract without issue. I would recommend giving him a few teaspoons of canned pumpkin with his food the next few days to increase his fiber intake and hopefully aid in easy pooping! You do want to monitor for signs of obstruction which include vomiting, decreased appetite and energy level, and abdominal pain. Since those pieces are small, it is safe to monitor for any GI signs such as vomiting and diarrhea, lethargy or a decreased appetite. There is a good change that can pass through and you will never notice a problem over the next 24-48 hours!

Pesci is a big dog so he may be ok. Keep a close eye on him. If you see vomiting, diarrhea, blood in his poop, a loss of appetite, or lethargy, then it's causing problems and he will need to see a vet. I'd monitor him for the next three days to be safe. I hope this helps!

Hachi is adorable! It looks like the piece that has come off the sandal is very small, so hopefully Hachi will be able to pass that normally through this GI tract. You will want to closely monitor for any signs of a GI obstruction which would include vomiting, not feeling well or not wanting to eat.
