My dog has a stuffy nose, snorts, and sneezes. Can she go to class?

This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a chronic rhinitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). This sounds like she has a mild cold or upper respiratory infection. Generally these are viral colds and will run their course over a week or so. Just like with us no antibiotics are needed unless she develops a secondary bacterial infection. If the discharge becomes green and her condition worsens then please bring her right in for treatment. I am sorry Snoopy is having this issue. It definitely can be a cold but there are other things it can be. It can be allergies or if it is one nostril that there is discharge it can be a growth. I recommend taking Snoopy to the veterinarian and having them listen to her to make sure there is nothing settled in her lungs and it is just an upper respiratory issue. Poor girl. It sounds like Macie may have an upper respiratory infection. You should have her seen by your vet within the next 24-48 hrs and they will put her on a short course of antibiotics to hopefully clear things up. Most upper respiratory infections in dogs are caused by a bacteria, so this is the proper and only course of treatment that will help resolve her symptoms. Hello, again. I would just watch him for now. More than likely he will sneeze out anything remaining. Again, as long as he is not having any difficulties breathing, I would just keep an eye on things. He may have a bit of an upper respiratory infection going on & these are pretty self limiting after a week or so. If he is otherwise happy & eating well, he should not need antibiotics at this time. He will not inhale this into his lungs as this is pretty impossible to do through the nasal passages. So if he is not in any distress, he will be fine.
