My dog has a small sore/scab on inside of hind leg and has been sick this evening. There has been a report of Alabama rot in the area where I walked her at the weekend Should I be worried??

Poor Elsa! Since you have heard of some reports of this illness in that area, I would recommend to have her seen by your vet. Alabama Rot can be a very serious illness and some do have successful treatments if treatment is started early. On the other hand, there is a high probability that it isn't Alabama Rot and she may just need some antibiotics or other meds to help her feel better. It is better to have her seen and have this ruled out rather than wait to see if it gets worse. I hope this helps!
