My dog sniffs car leaks. Are spilled car fluids dangerous for dogs?

That is an air intake vent usually for helping keep the engine and other car parts cool, and there shouldn't be any leakage from it. Most things will leak from underneath a car depending on where fluids are kept in the car. I would not be concerned, and if you are worried about your dog ingesting something, keeping them on a leash and not allowing them near cars is best.

Obviously I cannot say for certain, but I suspect it was water, drainage or dog urine. Keep an eye on him, but he most likely will do just fine. Ask questions anytime!

Dogs unfortunately love to sniff (and even lick or eat) other dead animals, so it was great that you were able to act quickly and keep Jordy from eating whatever that was. It sounds like you keep him up to date on all of his vaccines, which is excellent. As long as he continues to act normally (eating, drinking, urinating and defecating normally), and is otherwise healthy, I would not be concerned. I hope this is helpful!

However, if he only sniffed the rain water or licked a small amount, then it would be unlikely that he would be affected. This is especially true if he is still acting normally. In the future, try to avoid rain water. However, dogs seem to seek it out. Monitor him for any vomiting or attitude changes. I hope this information helps!
