My dog is very sick, vomiting, not eating, and in pain. Is she dying?

I would be very concerned about Bubbles, and take her into a vet immediately. I see that she isn't spayed, which means she can develop a life threatening infection of the uterus called a pyometra. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, and it causes vomiting, weakness, and lethargy, all signs she is showing. Without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain if she has one or not, but because of the seriousness of a pyometra I would take her into vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. I really think you need to take Suzie to an emergency vet. We do not have enough information here to be helpful to you. Drooling and vomiting is due to nausea. If you think she feels warm she could have a fever. Pancreatitis can be life threatening so I think you need to get her back to the vet ASAP.

I am so very sorry to hear about your dog. Based on your photos she looks severely emaciated and dehydrated, and possibly anemic (I can see her third eyelid in one photo and it looks quite pale). The possible causes are many and could include severe parasitism, infectious disease, autoimmune disease, organ failure, cancer, toxin exposure. Your dog needs veterinary attention right away if she is to survive, or to help her pass peacefully if you are unable to provide care for her. It sounds like she is suffering and she needs to be examined by a vet and have some testing done (such as stool testing and bloodwork to start) to try to determine why she is so ill. She could be constipated, have eaten something she shouldn't have, or have a severe kind of infection making her not feel well. With her being unspayed, we worry about pyometra. This is a life threatening infection in the uterus due to hormone changes that causes lethargy, vomiting, weakness, increased water drinking, and even death if not intervened quickly. The treatment is to spay her on an emergency basis. You diagnose it by history, bloodwork, x-rays /- an ultrasound. Get her in right away.

Hi there. So sorry that Sara is not feeling well. Her symptoms are not specific for any one illness or disease process so it is hard for me to speculate as to what may be wrong. I can tell you however, that she is sick and she needs to be seen by a veterinarian for an examination. I am a bit worried that she could have a uterine infection since she is not spayed. If she is not up to date on her vaccinations she may have caught a viral disease like parvo or distemper. Those are just a few things that come to mind right away that might be going on.
