My dog's healing scab came off. What should I do to protect it?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 163 lbs

This was healing but the scab came off and now I'm worried

Place an e-collar (cone) on Tucker to prevent rubbing or scratching. Clean the area with dilute Betadine or chlorhexidine and dry thoroughly. You can apply a dab of triple antibiotic ointment on the spot once or twice daily. It should heal up quickly. If it spreads or doesn't heal, have your veterinarian examine Tucker.

This presentation could be due to a localized spot of skin infection (likely to be caused by bacteria or fungal). A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics or antifungal meds (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem.
Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any scratching.

If Tucker will not leave the wound alone, then an e-collar would be recommended. If it is possible that the wound is a bite wound, then I would recommend having your vet examine the area. Regardless of how well we keep a bite wound clean, they tend to get infected and require antibiotics. My dog has a rough scab under his neck. How can I help it heal?

Ouch, poor Dax. I would gently clean this with warm water and antiseptic soap. To keep him from scratching at it, you can put an Ecollar on him. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps!

My dog's neuter incision is red, wet, and puffy. What can I use?

It looks like it could be an area of minor infection or irritation. Place the e-collar (cone) back on him for a few more days. Keep the area clean and dry. This may enough to allow for healing. If not, gently clean the area with diluted Betadine or chlorhexidine (Hibiclens). Dry it thoroughly afterwards. A dab of a triple antibiotic ointment can be applied. Aloe can be used as long as the e-collar is in place. If he were to lick it and ingest the aloe vera gel, it could cause stomach upset.

Place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent further trauma. Have him examined by your veterinarian to diagnose infection or injury. Yoda may need both antibiotics and medication for pain or inflammation. If you can't take him just yet, clean the area with diluted betadine or chlorhexidine and place an e-collar on him. You can buy them in most pet stores. Monitor for resolution, but if gets worse or if he becomes lethargic or stops eating, get him to your vet.

My dog ripped his dew claw. He licked the scab. Should I be concerned?

It looks like Scooby has ripped up part of the scab. I would gently wash the area with warm water and antiseptic soap, and put the Ecollar back on him. Keep them Ecollar on him until the area fully heals and there is no scab. My dog has a scab on its neck for 2 weeks, should I see a vet?

Anytime there is an injury to the skin, a scab should form and should stay in place until the skin underneath is completely healed. If the area of Tula's scab was deep, it can take a while for the skin underneath to completely heal enough for the scab to fall off. If the area around the scab is red or oozing or the scabbed area is enlarging, then I would recommend having Tula examined by your veterinarian.
