My dog got salicylic acid in his eye. Is it dangerous? Should I rinse?

The biggest concern with getting Lysol in the eye would be irritation or ulceration of the cornea (the clear surface of the eye), which is usually quite painful. If he's squinting in the affected eye, or if the eye appears red or is having any drainage, then I would recommend taking him to an emergency vet today to have it checked. If the eye looks normal, then it's likely that not enough Lysol came into contact with his eye to cause any problems, and you shouldn't need to worry.

Rinse Sam's eye with cool water as well. Monitor it for redness, swelling, discharge, or pain. He would show pain by keeping his eye closed as much as possible and/or rubbing at his eye. If you see any of those signs, have him seen by a vet. Best of luck.

It's very likely some shampoo got into her eye, try to gently rinse the eye with running water then try to leave it for a few hours to calm down. if within 4-6 hours you do not see any improvement in the eye condition you should then take her to your vet in order to get it checked and treated, she might need eye drops to reduce the irritation.
