Why is my young female chihuahua sad, sore, not eating, with discharge?

Has she been in heat recently? At her age with not being spayed I would worry about thisbdisxharge being from the uterus and her having an uterine infection. This can be an emergency that typically requires surgery. Often times they are weak, drinking more water, vomiting and not eating. Other options include a bladder infection which will need antibiotics. Your vet can distguish between the two and see what is needed

I'm sorry to hear Daisy isn't feeling well. I would be very concerned about the abnormalities you are seeing with Daisy's belly. The growth in size could be due to an infected uterus (pyometra) as she is not spayed, a growth in the abdomen or fluid pooling in the abdomen (blood or other). As she is acting I'll, I would take her to immediately be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine the underlying cause of her issues.

These signs could be due potentially to a uterine infection. That is usually called pyometra and could be a surgical emergency unfortunately. I would recommend a check up at your local veterinarian as soon as possible.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Bella is beautiful! My concern is that Bella is not spayed and I am worried about the the mucous discharge you are describing. It may be coming from her vulva. She may have a mucous or pus filled uterus. With her belly being big too that is even more likely to be a uterus problem. Is she has a pus filled uterus (pyometra) that is a surgical emergency. It is good that it is draining. My recommendation is have her looked at sooner than later. Your Vet will likely do blood work and take a belly X-ray. I wish you and Bella the best of luck!

If she has not had her first heat cycle then this could certainly be the cause of what you are seeing. I would have Bella seen by a vet immediately. She could be suffering from a pyometra, which would cause her to be lethargic, shiver from pain, have the brownish discharge, and drink and urinate a lot. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, so she should be seen by a vet now. A UTI or bladder stones are other differentials for her symptoms, but the risk is of a pyometra is high. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, and x-rays to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated. If she does have a pyometra, spaying her is part of the recommended treatment. Please take her into a vet now.

Poor Mini! I see that she isn't spayed, and I would be very concerned that these two bumps around her nipples are mammary tumors. Dogs who are not spayed are prone to developing mammary tumors, and 50% of those tumors are malignant. They will be painful as well, causing her to not want to eat and possibly vomit. The best thing to do is have her seen by a vet as soon as possible. The vet will need to do biopsy of these bumps to diagnose if they are malignant or benign. Should they be malignant, they will need to be removed surgically, and her local lymph nodes will need to be checked to see if there has been localized spread of the cancer. Please take her into a vet.
