Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 6 months old | 90 lbs
My 5 year old American bulldog has been drinking excessive amounts of water and urinating a lot more than usual. She is very tired, was shivering this morning (but this has now stopped). She has just come out of heat and has a little brown discharge which she is licking a lot. She still hasn't good appetite but it is very unusual to see her this way. Also her one eye is red, I am not sure if this is related or if she has scratched it.

Based on what you are describing I would be worried about a pyometra as well. The likelihood of this increases if Skylar has recently been in heat. I would recommend taking Skylar in to the vet to be examined. If she is diagnosed with a pyometra she will need emergency surgery.
I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
