My dog has ringworm near mouth. How to treat without her licking?

Creams get absorbed rapidly into the skin and rubbing it in will enhance absorption even more. Lamisil is not toxic when ingested but it may produce upset stomach, so your Batty may vomit if she keeps licking it. Licking the cream off may slow down the healing. If after 10-14 days there is no improvement to the skin, your vet may have to change the treatment to anti-fungal tablets.

Although a picture of it could help to determine more specifically the underlying cause of it, it is likely that the ringworm infection has spread even further and it is now affecting mouth area. I would recommend to start more effective and powerful treatment as anti-fungal medication (even ointment could be beneficial and resolutive). Unfortunately there are several skin diseases in dogs that can look just like ringworm - bacterial skin infections causing epidermal collarettes would be most common. Your best course of action would be to have your vet examine Kapano since oral medication is often required for ringworm - even though there is a single lesion it may be elsewhere in his fur and contamination of the environment can cause reinfection. I know some people and veterinarians will use over the counter creams containing miconazole, but they often are not very effective. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian.
