Is it safe to give my dog Rimadyl, Methocarbamol, Benadryl at once?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Can my dog take Rimadyl, Methcarbamol and Benadryl at the same time. She has allergies and I typically give her one Benadryl a day.

Use caution. The methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant and has some sedative effects. The Benadryl, as an antihistamines, can be sedating as well. Given together, they may cause extreme lethargy or sedation. Discuss your concerns with your vet prior to administering this combination of medications.
