Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 10.6 lbs
I have a shorkie that is 1 yr 6 months. he was neutered almost a year ago. the extra skin from his surgery is red and swollen and hurts him. he doesn't play or jump like normal. if i move from a room to another room he follows only to quickly sit down. he will be asleep and will suddenly sit up. i think it hurts him. he was groomed yesterday but there's no indication of a cut. the vet isn't opened tomorrow, just wondering what it could possible be

It sounds like your Dez has an inflamed scrotum. It is possible that during grooming /washing some shampoo remained in the scrotal folds and he has an allergic reaction to that. There is also a possibility that the grooming tools were not disinfected from the previous dog and your dog may have now have a bacterial infection. Gently wash the area with just warm water, dry well and observe. If it does not get better you can apply some over the counter wound ointment, but should see your vet on Monday.
