My dog got rat poison in her mouth. I rinsed it. Will she be okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Airedale Terrier | Female | spayed | 9 years and 6 months old | 18 lbs

If My dog had a block of tomcat poison in her mouth for just a few seconds I took it out her mouth rinsed her mouth out she spit up the water will it will ok

As long as none was ingested, it will likely not cause any problems. If you would rather be on the safe side, you can bring shelbi in to see your vet and have her blood tested to make sure that there are no changes consistent with rat poison. I hope this helps!     It could be that she didn't ingest enough to cause ill effects, or she vomited up the poison before it had a chance to affect her. Watch her for any symptoms just in case and get her seen if she shows any adverse reactions.
