My dog might be pregnant and has yellow discharge. Is it normal?

It could be normal as long as it has no smell to it, there's no blood in it, and it isn't green or brown. Without seeing Eva in person, I can't say for certain. Have her seen by a vet for it to be safe.

Then usually about 1-2 weeks later that discharge becomes more yellow in color, and that is when they are receptive to a male dog. This is probably pyoderma, which is a skin infection, it can sometimes be more common in pregnant dogs. if it seems to be getting worse over time you should take her to the vet in order to get an antibiotic course which will probably resolve the issue.

Any vaginal discharge in a pregnant cat other than a transparent discharge is not normal. If you notice a vaginal discharge you need to visit the vet, as this may indicate that the cat has a problem which can result in an abortion. She could also have a urinary tract infection. But in any case, she should be seen by a veterinarian.
