My dog pees often and has a dry cough. Should I be worried?

I would suggest a vet visit for Gus just to find out what is causing the cough. Heart disease or lung disease can potential he cause a cough as well as things like allergies or viral infection. Because Gus is a little bit older I would suggest getting him checked out just for peace of mind.

Another very likely possibility is that Chico has a collapsed trachea. You will need to take Chico to your vet for an exam and x-rays (which will rule out collapsed trachea and lung edema caused by congestive heart failure).
