My dog's paw pad is swollen and oozing after a tight bandage.

Dog had an injury to back pad..vet said it was looking well after a week..is was slightly oozing last night after vet appt..hubby wrapped it a bit too tight now swollen

This can sometimes happen, one day it looks good and does not hurt, and the next the dog injures it again because it did not hurt anymore but is not quite strong enough. I suggest that you keep your dog from getting dirt into the injury, preferably keep him from running around too much and take him back to the vet for a recheck on Monday. If the swollen area is colder than the rest of the foot, he needs to be seen by a veterinarian today, as there may be a serious problem with the blood circulation of the leg.
