Is Parastar for mange safe to use with Nexgard flea/tick prevention?

Parastar contains only fipronil and should remain topical (on the skin). Nexgard is given orally, so it works completely differently and theoretically should not interact. However, I suspect that the companies have not tested the products together, so they will likely not be able to give you a tested answer about their interaction. If you have already given the Nexgard for the month and need to add Parastar for mites, make sure to ask your vet for their recommendation. If you are just trying to get flea/tick protection, you should be able to get that with Parastar alone, so again I would ask your vet for their recommendation for your area since flea and tick product efficacy does tend to vary by region.
