Why is my husky panting, vomiting, not eating, and not pooping?

My husky is panting lethargic vomiting and not eating. He has also not been pooping

I'm sorry Lucky isn't feeling well. If this has been going on for more than 1 day, then he should be seen by his veterinarian. There are too many causes to list that can make a dog vomit and not eat, but many can be serious. Panting in dogs is often a sign of pain or discomfort. When you take Lucky to the vet, be ready to answer questions about his regular diet, if he has eaten anything abnormal lately, does he chew on items, exposure to poisons or chemicals. As much information as you know about these things can help your vet narrow down possible causes for Lucky's illness. After examining Lucky they will make recommendations for further diagnostic tests such as blood tests or radiographs. I hope Lucky starts feeling better soon.

Hello, sorry to hear about Wolfie. It sounds like he is having GI signs and panting. The panting is most likely secondary to his GI signs. Things that may cause this include a dietary indiscretion(most commonly in dogs), inflammation of the bowel, and infection with parasites or viruses. Less commonly, older dogs may develop cancer of their GI tract.

Given the signs seem to be mild and he otherwise is eating, have Wolfie evaluated by your veterinarian tomorrow if his signs do not improve with a bland diet of plain white rice, skinless and boneless chicken, and low fat cottage cheese.

If he is vomiting persistently or more than 4 times in one day, develops severe lethargy, or has bloody diarrhea, then have hime seen sooner. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I would recommend bringing Onyx to your veterinarian. He is going to need supportive care including fluids and medication. He may need diagnostics including x-rays looking for a foreign body or blood work looking for pancreatitis. I would not wait much longer to bring him to the vet so he doesn't get any worse. My husky is coughing, vomiting, and lethargic. Is it serious?

Huskies are certainly able to overheat more easily than other breeds due to their thick coat. All of the clinical signs could potentially be related to something like that as well, but could be an indication of something entirely different. If there has only been episode of vomiting and some mild lethargy, I don't think it is entirely unreasonable to take a wait and see approach. If the rapid breathing becomes even more labored or Midna actually appears to be in any true distress, I would not delay and would take her into the veterinarian as soon as possible. As of now, it sounds like she's still eating, drinking, and functioning pretty normally. Keep a close eye on Midna, particularly the breathing, and should it worsen have her looked at right away.

This is an emergency and Husky needs to go to the vet as soon as possible. Dogs are very good at masking illness and will only be lethargic like this when they are severely ill, or in shock. This can happen from an infection, heart disease, lung disease, metabolic disease, brain disease, or poisoning. The fact that Husky is breathing fast is very concerning that she is not getting enough oxygen, which can quickly become deadly if not treated appropriately. The emergency clinic will be able to ensure that she is well oxygenated and can determine that cause of this problem. I hope everything goes well and Husky gets better soon.
