Why is my 10-month husky lethargic, feverish, and not eating?

Lethargy and a loss of appetite are both signs of illness that can include dental disease, systemic illness, infection, or injury. Without seeing her in person, I can't narrow it down. I don't think it's necessarily something to be worried about at this stage. It is not uncommon for huskies and husky-type dogs to be picky/light eaters. She may be low energy because she is unsure of her surroundings. You have only had her one day. Don't force her or push her to be social if she doesn't want to be. If she is vomiting or having diarrhea she should see a veterinarian ASAP. If she is of normal body weight I would not be concerned. Many dogs these days are overfed and too fat. I doubt she will be starve herself. In my entire veterinary career I think I have only told 1 or 2 people that their dogs were too skinny. It is very rare. I suggest you get a scale and weigh her once a week and keep a log. When Amelia goes to the vet next take the log with you and you can discuss it with them. Has she been dewormed? Is she up to date on her vaccinations? She is supposed to have a round of vaccines at 8 weeks of age, 12 weeks of age and 16 weeks of age. They should be dewormed at each of those vaccine appointments too. You really need to make a relationship with a local vet especially if you are a first time dog owner. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

These symptoms are always concerning in a puppy. If Muffin did not have a complete set of vaccines when he was younger, parvo or distemper is a possibility, even without blood in the stool. Hypoglycemia or liver disease could also cause these symptoms, and could be a concern if your Husky is only 10 pounds at 6 months. I would recommend that he be checked out by a vet ASAP.

I'm sorry Lucky isn't feeling well. If this has been going on for more than 1 day, then he should be seen by his veterinarian. There are too many causes to list that can make a dog vomit and not eat, but many can be serious. Panting in dogs is often a sign of pain or discomfort. When you take Lucky to the vet, be ready to answer questions about his regular diet, if he has eaten anything abnormal lately, does he chew on items, exposure to poisons or chemicals. As much information as you know about these things can help your vet narrow down possible causes for Lucky's illness. After examining Lucky they will make recommendations for further diagnostic tests such as blood tests or radiographs. I hope Lucky starts feeling better soon.

Yuki sounds very sick. She may have a stomach illness, could have eating something rotten, may have kidney disease, liver disease, or even cancer causing her symptoms. I would take her into a vet immediately.
