My dog last night was at the hospital due to vomiting and diarrhea with blood she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and given medication for it. It's the first full day of medication but still has diarrhea with some blood but the diarrhea is not frequent anymore is it normal to still have a little blood in her stool ?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear about Manchitas recent hospitalization!
Blood can be seen with diarrhea that has been going on for a while. It indicated inflammation in the colon. I am hoping your Bet has her on medications (metronidazole or sometimes called flagyl) for the diarrhea, which should help. If she is eating, drinking and not vomiting I think you are okay watching the stool since it has slowed down.
Good luck to you both!
