After emergency spay for metritis, can my dog still nurse her puppies?

My dog might have metristis. Can she still nurse after the emergency spay

That really depends on her clinical signs. If she seems to be doing well then she can probably nurse the puppies. If she is weak, not eating, etc. then you may need to supplement until she recovers. The vet that is doing the spay should be able to advise you on the best way to feed the puppies.
