My dog has a neck lump from edema. When will the swelling go down?

Pet's info: Dog | English Springer Spaniel | Female | spayed | 11 years old

My dog went back to vets due to a swelling near neck she had been scratching her ear due to ear infection which has now cleared up he said some thing about edema soft tissue damage when will the lump go down

Hi, the edema should gradually go down within a week -ten days. If Emma is not scratching the area anymore, you could just massage it this will help with fluid being rebasorbed, she could also benefit from oral antinflammatories to help with the fluid build up and inflammation. Hope this helps !
