My dog has a lump on its snout. Is it a tumor, infection, or other?

It could be an infection, cyst, allergic reaction, benign or cancerous lump. The best thing would be to have your vet examine her to perform a needle aspirate to help diagnose. Your vet can then determine the best way to treat. She may need an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, or it may need to be removed.

I am concerned that Racer either has a reaction to something - like a spider or insect bite, or this could be a type of infection, possibly fungal like cryptococcus. It could be a tooth root abscess or a tumor in her maxilla (upper jaw bone) or in her nasal cavity. I recommend taking her to the Vet for an exam.
