My dog licked Posatex. Is it poisonous or harmful in small amounts?

There is not a concern for ingesting prednisolone in and of itself. I am not sure if the formulation you are using is intended only for topical use, so may have some ingredients that shouldn’t be ingested, however if it was just a small amount, I wouldn’t be concerned. It does sound like allergies. I would not use the Posatex unless your vet confirms an active infection. Doing this can create an environment where antibiotic-resistant bacteria can develop, which can make treatment really difficult. You can use an ear cleaner and try an antihistamine like Claritin or Zyrtec.

You are correct in thinking so. She would need to ingest much more in order to be at risk of serious toxicity. At worst, you may see some mild stomach upset if anything at all. A short fast followed by a bland diet for a few days should resolve minor upset.

Licking off a small amount of neosporin should not harm Theo. If he continues to lick/chew his paws you may want to take him to the vet to be assessed for allergies. For a dog this size, it has a possibility of causing damage to the stomach, intestines and kidneys, but I would have to know how big of a bottle it was. If it was half of a 15g bottle, then the dose should not be too harmful, but it's difficult to know for sure. Watch for signs of vomiting, diarrhea and a decrease in appetite as signs that she is having an adverse reaction. If you notice any of this, then she should go to the vet immediately for treatment. But in general, if he only ate a single dose, I would not expect this to cause any serious problems - these medications typically have a wide margin of safety, even if they are ingested rather than applied topically. To be safe, you should monitor for any neurologic issues such as muscle tremors or seizures, and take Oscar to the vet right away if he is acting abnormal.
