What's this itchy bump on my dog's nose that he scratches at night?

It is hard to tell from the photo the characteristics of this bump. I would say it is possible it is related to trauma and I would monitor for now but it could also be a tumor (either benign or malignant). My recommendation would be to monitor it for the next 24 to 48 hours, and if it is still there in the same size or it is bigger I would have a veterinarian examin the area. Further testing might need to be considered such as taking a sample of the mass and sending it out for interpretation at the laboratory. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Bumps like this are usually a hypersensitivity response to an allergen. Also it could be bug bites that are having a localized reaction. I would recommend monitoring these areas to see if they continue to grow in size or cause pain/irritation. If they do start causing irritation for Snow, then you can place a cold compress on the area for 5 mins tonight and then get Snow seen by your vet tomorrow for further care, if it is still bothersome for Snow. It sounds like he has likely come out in hives from a sting or rubbing something he is allergic to. Yiu can give him.an antihistamine or apply antihistamine cream if you have it. Otherwise they should settle eventually or you can go to a vet for an exam and steroid shot.

It's a little difficult to tell from your picture, but I think the spot on the muzzle looks more like a skin mass or growth that could be infected or inflamed. The other spots look like they might be signs of a bacterial or fungal skin infection which can occur secondary to allergies. I'd recommend having your vet take a look in person.

I would be suspicious this may be s fungal infection, especially when it appears to be spreading. I recommend you get his checked and an appropriate treatment prescribed as soon as possible; be aware that some infections such as ringworm can be picked up by people also so handle with care until this can be ruled out

This looks like a mild skin infection or irritation from an insect bite or injury. You can wash it with antibacterial soap, rinse it well and then apply a thin film of antibacterial ointment on it. As long as there are no other spots this should heal fine. The overlying skin may come off and then the pinker skin may be showing until the fur grows back in which could take a month or so. Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Those bumps do not look like a bug bite reaction as but bite reactions are usually haired swellings in the skin. I would be worried that these are an infection or masses of a different type (benign (non-cancerous) masses or more concerningly a cancerous mass). If they popped up quickly then they are more likely infection. I would recommend not giving Benedryl, putting an e-collar on Kelso so that he can't scratch them open, and get him to a vet as soon as possible for testing and medications. Best of luck with Kelso.
