Hard to apply Frontline on Husky's dense fur? Oral tick options?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 45 lbs

We have 2 Huskies we've been treating them with Frontline, we found a tick on Jojo as they have dense fur its hard to apply to skin. Is their an injection or tablet we can get to treat them? Cheers Dave

Yes, bravecto tablets which cover for three months or nexguard tablets which cover for one month are both effective against fleas and ticks. Bravecto has a more rapid onset of action and is highly palatable but must be given with food. Remember also to keep up to date with deworming medications also
