My dog has green eye discharge. Should I wait for the vet or go now?

Unfortunately no, there are no OTC medications you can use on Bella's eye. If she has green pus, that can indicate an eye infection and she needs to see a vet right away. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. If it's just the one eye there may be something going on on the corneal surface that you can't see with the naked eye. A vet would need to stain the eye to see a scratch. It sounds as Neah is suffering from an eye infection, it is relatively common in dogs. you will need to take her to the vet the first chance you get, the vet will check the eyes, if it is indeed a simple eye infection your vet will prescribe an antibiotic eye drops that will probably solve the problem in no time.

Clear nasal discharge is considered normal if not profuse, green however would indicate a potential infection. I would advise taking Archie in to the vet. The veterinarian will be able to take a swab of the discharge to tell if it is an infection and if so what type. The vet will also be able to find the source of the infection; for example nasal passages or within the lungs. A treatment plan can then be made with you.
