My dog has eye worms and sleeping seizures. What should I do?

Yes, I see what you are talking about in the pictures and can't tell you for sure what they are. Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell without some additional ophthalmology equipment and magnification. I would recommend consulting with a veterinary ophthalmologist. Eye worms are quite rare and most of us have not seen them before, so it would be worth consulting with an expert. Hello. These are ticks & ticks can carry some pretty serious diseases. You can not rule out that your dog may also be experiencing true seizures due to epilepsy, but this is a instance where you need to get the ticks off your pet & seriously use a product to keep the ticks off as best you can. Kalo should be evaluated by a veterinarian in case he has already picked up one of the tick-borne diseases & I am sure your veterinarian can recommend the best tick products that are available in your country. The most likely diseases are as follows: 1. Parvo, a virus that primarily attacks the immune system and intestines of dogs and is very lethal if left without supportive care. 2. Intestinal parasites which can cause intestinal blockage and even anemia (depletion of red blood cells). 3. Other viruses with varying severities. This is not an exhaustive list, just the most common things for a puppy. They will all lead to dehydration and other secondary issues which can all be severe enough to cause death. Whatever the underlying disease, he looks very ill and needs attention from a veterinarian immediately. I would recommend taking him to your nearest emergency veterinary hospital as soon as possible. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There are a couple of worms types that Diamond could have, both of which could cause her to get pretty sick. Roundworms and stomach worms are possible and can cause a significant amount of damage if left untreated. Additionally, roundworms are zoonotic meaning people can contract them through infestation with their larvae, necessitating treatment. As long as she isn't acting sick, just make an appointment to have her examined by a veterinarian within a few days and a fecal examination performed to determine what kind of worms they are and what the best medication is to treat Diamond for them. If she starts showing signs of illness, have her seen as soon as you can. Hope this helps!

These are transmitted by fleas (when dogs eat them) which are likely to be causing Bruce’s itching. I recommend starting him on a monthly flea control product such as FrontLine and a flea shampoo. He should be seen by a vet to confirm the presence of tapeworms and receive appropriate deworming. Your vet can also examine Bruce for any other underlying conditions that may be causing these symptoms. You should bring a stool sample from your puppy to speed up the diagnosis. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bujji! It is very hard to see the wound, but in the last picture it looks more like a mass involving his left foot. He should be using an E-collar to prevent licking and be kept indoors to prevent flies from landing on the wound resulting in maggots. Bujji needs to be seen by a Vet to see if that is a mass on the foot or if the foot is broken. The only thing I can recommend is the above plus cleaning the wound twice daily with water and soap and applying mupirocin ointment after each cleaning. He needs oral antibiotics and pain medications. We can not prescribe medications legally because the law requires a valid Veterinary Client Patient Relationship. In order to have that we need to be able to examine him in person. I wish Bujji the best!
