My 1 & 1/2 year old male golden retriever has server red swelling in the outer corner of his eye. It is a big red bump w/ dry skin and he has been squinting for a few days no! Has also had diarrhea all day today. I need help in knowing if this is common and if I can home remedy him back to help or if I should take him to the vet right away!

Poor Benelly! This sounds like a little eye infection or a corneal ulcer. Since he is favoring that eye by squinting, I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to determine exactly what is causing the irritation and start him on the proper eye drops if needed. I hope this helps!
