Why is my dog drooling bubbles, blinking, and acting aggressive?

I recommend to have your pup examined by the veterinarian. If you can catch one of these episodes on video, please do so to show the veterinarian. It's possible your pet is having a focal seizure though a cardiovascular problem could cause an altered mentation as well. Try to have her examined today if possible. I hope this helps.

That is odd behavior for a younger dog. When you see it, try to record the episode. Also try to note if it seems to be in response to a smell or something else that might be triggering him. Sometimes dogs will do this if they smell something super enticing. Other times this can be a sign of jaw pain, a bad tooth or seizures. I have seen some dogs do this and the cause was never discovered. Since Hades can’t just talk and tell you, I recommend to have him seen by his veterinarian to check for any pain or neurological abnormalities. Sounds like Snow is having partial seizures. I suggest you video tape her episodes and take her to the vet for an exam and show them the video. They will most likely recommend some blood testing and will discuss with you some anti-seizure medications if they think they are needed. This could be a form of seizure activity. I recommend getting your dog seen by your vet as soon as possible for an exam and lab work. If you can get a video of the episode, please do, so your vet will know what you're seeing. Sustained or repeated seizures can cause the body temperature to rise to dangerous levels and increases the risk of brain damage. When you have a chance, take a look around and see if you can find anything he might have gotten into, since poisoning is one of the causes of seizures. If he has a history of liver or kidney disease, this is also a potential cause. Sometimes we never know why a pet has a seizure. If he does have a series of seizures, your vet will want to do an exam and bloodwork to try and determine a cause and potentially put your pet on anti-seizure medication to lessen the chances of this happening again in the future.

When you describe your dog as ‘fly biting’ it makes me concerned that he is having seizure-like activity. If he is having seizures this would explain his abnormal behavior. The gums in this picture appear normal so I would not worry about that. I would recommend visiting your veterinarian as soon as possible. This sounds like a serious problem, especially given the chronicity. A neurologic problem with the nerves to the face or a neuromuscular problem (facial muscles) may be options. Unfortunately there are many things that could be causing these symptoms. A good place to start is baseline bloodwork to check organ function along with a full neurologic exam by a vet. If your family vet is stumped then referral to a veterinary specialist (internist or neurologist) is indicated. More testing is needed in a case like this in order to know what is the best treatment.
