Why is my dog chewing her mouth, foaming, and acting weird suddenly?

Sounds like Snow is having partial seizures. I suggest you video tape her episodes and take her to the vet for an exam and show them the video. They will most likely recommend some blood testing and will discuss with you some anti-seizure medications if they think they are needed. I hate the hear that Chubby is having these odd behaviors. My first thought is that maybe she is having a seizure. A problem with her liver could also look the same way. I would recommend to record one of these episodes and then make an appointment with her Vet for bloodwork and to review the video. This will give the doctor a better idea of how to proceed. When you describe your dog as ‘fly biting’ it makes me concerned that he is having seizure-like activity. If he is having seizures this would explain his abnormal behavior. The gums in this picture appear normal so I would not worry about that. I would recommend visiting your veterinarian as soon as possible. This almost sounds like focal seizure activity - sometimes cats will foam at the mouth and make chewing motions during a seizure. I'm wondering if her eyes seem different because she is actually unconscious during these episodes. Of course ingesting something that tastes bad could also cause something like this but it seems unusual for it to happen more than once. I'd recommend having a vet examine Mao Mao - if you can get a video of the episode it could help your vet determine what's going on.

This could be a form of seizure activity. I recommend getting your dog seen by your vet as soon as possible for an exam and lab work. If you can get a video of the episode, please do, so your vet will know what you're seeing. Sustained or repeated seizures can cause the body temperature to rise to dangerous levels and increases the risk of brain damage. When you have a chance, take a look around and see if you can find anything he might have gotten into, since poisoning is one of the causes of seizures. If he has a history of liver or kidney disease, this is also a potential cause. Sometimes we never know why a pet has a seizure. If he does have a series of seizures, your vet will want to do an exam and bloodwork to try and determine a cause and potentially put your pet on anti-seizure medication to lessen the chances of this happening again in the future.

From what your are describing it seems to be a seizure and I would recommend to have Pommerian checked by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Make sure she didn't ingest anything she shouldn't have (i.e. human medication, herbicide, detergents,...), if you find something suspicious bring it with you so the vet can check it. If she isn't vaccinated, rabies is also a major concern especially for your health so please be careful and and take her straight to your vet.

I don't think it's related to the Cushings. Dogs will foam and shake their head if they taste something bad or eat an insect or something like that. I would not be overly worried at this stage. Just monitor her closely and if this becomes more frequent try to video tape her doing it and then take her to your vet for an exam.
