My dog is dizzy and throwing up after a bath. Is it water in his ears?

I am sorry to hear about Nina. Unless she has a history of ear infections, then this is not likely her issue. Many dogs don't need their ears cleaned at all as the ear in a healthy dog doesn't usually need to be cleaned. Signs of ear infection include an odor and discharge from the ears, redness and pain of the ear canal, shaking the head, scratching and rubbing the ears. If she hasn't had these signs, this is not likely due to her ears and she should see the vet for an examination.

Dizziness and nausea could be caused by several different things. First, I would ensure that there was nothing out of the ordinary Jasper could have gotten into (like people food or treats) as that could upset his tummy. If he recovered from this episode uneventfully you could keep an eye on him for the next few hours and see how he does. If there's more vomiting, disorientation or seizure like behavior (like trembling or convulsions) I would take him in to see your vet. There is something called Old Dog Vestibular Disease, that causes dogs to suddenly appear to be totally unable to balance, be nauseous, spine in circles, or even be unable to stand. This happens for no particular reason, and usually improves over a few weeks with patience and supportive care (anti-nausea medication and fluid/nutritional support as needed). It is important to check for middle ear infections (which requires the otoscope at the vet clinic), general blood work and thyroid levels, and do an exam to make sure she doesn't have signs of other neurologic issues that would suggest a brain tumor. So, I'd advise keeping her safe tonight by blocking stairs, removing water boils, etc and taking her to the vet tomorrow to be checked out.

It could be something is bothering Eivan's ears, like an ear infection. Or his ear could have been itchy. Shaking the head can make you a little disoriented and off balance, so that would explain why he was tripping. Keep an eye on him, and if he does this again, have him seen by a vet.

I'd worry that Hugo may have aspirated water during the bath. It's also possible that the bath was unrelated and that he ingested something, or that he has a neurologic problem. I'd recommend seeing a veterinarian as soon as possible for an exam and blood work, and potentially x-rays as well.

Please, take Princess to your local vet right away. Acute loss of balance should be always treated as an emergency. She may have been intoxicated, the signs could be due to brain dysfunction or ear problem, which should be treated without delay.
