My dog's behavior changed due to construction. What should I do?

It can be difficult going from one place to another since Kane most likely doesn't understand. If he isn't eating I would recommend a physical to make sure there is nothing going on medically with him. If he is fine then I would talk to your veterinarian about how he is behaving. Have Spring examined by your veterinarian. Sudden behavioral changes can be indicative of illness or injury. Abdominal x-rays may show bone or skull fragments (or not). This may convince your neighbor of your dog's innocence. You likely won't be able to change your neighbor's mind otherwise.

Hello. This may be a behavioral issue, but the only way to know definitively is to rule out all possible medical issues. Has Charlie had a urinalysis done? This would show the presence of bacteria, crystals or other possible abnormal cells in the urinary bladder. Then, steam clean the area where he pees or use a enzymatic cleaner labeled for pet urine. I would say that they are probably bored with the food, especially if they are not vomiting or having diarrhea. Try switching things up to another brand such as Royal Canin, Eukanuba, or even Viktor. I would recommend doing a slow transition over the course of a week to avoid any stomach upset and then trying on of the foods above or one you've found during your research. Hello, sorry to hear about your pup. It’s likely that his behavior was affected by multiple things. He was in a new environment with potential exposure to other pets either directly or indirectly. His daily routine changed completely, and he was interacting with new people. It’s likely that even if his diet had not changed in amount, your pup may have still had changes in his behavior. His decrease in diet could had indeed contributed by not satisfying him completely and then becoming anxious over still wanting food. I would discuss this multiple changes to his environment when he needs to be at a boarding facility again. Hope this helps and best of luck.

If it's been ongoing a week, I would think about scheduling a vet visit as there may be some minor GI upset or an underlying illness causing the change. If you see obvious signs of illness including lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, pain, refusing all food, etc, then seeking care right away is best.
