My puppy has a high fever and won't eat. Is Augmentin dosage safe?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 2 days old | 5 lbs

Ayya has fever 104.6 F. Vet asked to give augmentin 156mg/5ml , 8 hourly. What should I do . Is this dosage okay. Anything else I should do. He wants to nurse from mother, but mother doesn’t have milk. He is not willing to take any food or milk. We tried royal canine milk and starter. Please help

You did not give us the dosage to be able to tell you if it is reasonable or not. How much of the 156mg/ml solution are you giving every 8 hours?

If the mother doesn't have milk you will need to bottle feed. Here is a link on how to hand raise a puppy. He is probably a good 2-3 weeks away from eating on his own.
