Puppy fever not improving after paracetamol. Is it an emergency?

My 45 day gsd puppy has fever from last 12 hours. Im giving him paracetamol and antibiotics prescribed by a vet. But he still has fever. In how many time fever will go? Is it a serious matter?

Discontinue giving the paracetamol immediately. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) can be toxic to dogs if given in large amounts. Please have him rechecked by your veterinarian. Tell the doctor exactly how much paracetamol your dog has been given.
