My dog ate a tissue with detergent and conditioner. Is he okay?

If he is acting sick, then do not feed him, supply water only if he does not vomit & get him to the vet as soon as you can. But if he seems fine, he will most likely be OK. The chances of Teddy having any problem is unlikely with such a small amount. You did good by diluting it out with water. If you have milk of magnesia, you can also give him 0.5mL (approximately 1/8 teaspoon) of that to also help him. The biggest concern is him developing oral ulcers or esophageal ulcers. Watch him closely to make sure he is eating, drinking and acting normally over the next few days. If anything abnormal is noticed, have your vet take a look at him. I hope this helps!

If you do begin to note any evidence of non stop vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, or coughing, report to your vet right away. Lastly, do not attempt to make Sirius vomit. Generallly, the rule is when a chemical product like a conditioner is consumed, causing vomiting will cause more damage than good. Hope this makes sense.

This should be ok. The paper towel should pass without problem, and at most, you may see some stomach upset from Max from the antibacterial cleaner. As long as it doesn't contain bleach, he should be fine. If the antibacterial cleaner contains bleach, then yes, have him seen by a vet now.

The dryer sheet doesn't have any toxins that could hurt your dog and if only a small piece is missing, this should pass through his intestinal tract without trouble. Hi, I think the amount ingested is very small and it should therefore not be dangerous for Murph and hopefully pass through. I would keep and eye on Murph feaces and make sure he is comfortable, eating and not vomiting. If worried, have him checked over but hopefully it will pass through over the next 24 -48 hours.

Oh that was naughty of Lolla to eat! It's good that you pulled it out before she had a chance to eat the whole thing, but the detergent in it can cause some stomach and esophagus irritation. I would flush out her mouth with water, and keep an eye on her for now. You may see some self-limiting GI signs, such as drooling, vomiting, or diarrhea. I would try a home remedy in case you see these GI signs. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. Should Lolla be unable to even keep down water, however, then I would take her into the vet as that shows severe stomach irritation and she will need a gut protectant. Hopefully because she ate only a little bit, she should be fine.
