If so further action such as emergency removal will be needed. If left in the stomach, batteries can lead to internal organ damage. If you are concerned that the pieces are big and it just happened contact a vet to discuss inducing vomiting. They can decide if the pieces are too big to be thrown up. Otherwise watch for lethargy, belly pain, vomit and not wanting to eat as that can be symptoms of a blockage. I wish Mazzy the best!

If you see any of these symptoms in the next 24-48hrs, you should take Rayne to your local vets as an emergency. However, if she chewed the plastic into small pieces, most likely she will pass it with her stools and she will not show any worrying symptoms at all.
