My dog ate a rug placer. Is it dangerous for my medium-sized dog?

Pet's info: Dog | Keeshond | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 11 days old | 40 lbs

My dog ate a small rug placer that helps the to stop moving around a lot I'm not sure if it's dangerous or not to him and Loki is a medium sized dog.

Any type of foreign object or material ingested has the potential to cause a problem. However, from the picture, it doesn't looks like very much was torn off from the rug placer. These small pieces Loki ate may very well pass on their own without causing an issue, however, I would be on the look out for signs of a possible problem brewing such as frequent vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite and lethargy. Loki should see a veterinarian right away if any of these signs are noticed.
