My dog ate a Pop-Tart. Is it harmful, or will he be perfectly fine?

You may see some gastrointestinal upset (vomiting and diarrhea) in the next few hours. If necessary, you can fast him for 6-12 hours then feed a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, abdominal pain or GI upset that does not resolve. See your veterinarian for an exam and treatment if any of these symptoms develop.

Yes, as she only ate one she'll be fine. She would need to eat much more to make her sick. Please try to keep human food away from Bella as it can give her an upset stomach or diarrhea. Chocolate is the worst toxicity as dogs love chocolate, but grapes or raisins can cause kidney failure so please be careful with those things also. I would not be concerned if Dani only ate one bite of a lemon poppyseed muffin. Please monitor GI upset like vomiting and diarrhea and if these occur you may offer a bland diet of boiled chicken and sweet potato or rice. If vomiting or diarrhea does occur and is severe you may need to have Dani examined to see if medication is needed. Again, I think it's highly unlikely Dani will become sick but do suggest monitoring her for the next day or so to ensure she doesn't get mild stomach upset. A single chocolate-covered donut should not contain enough chocolate to cause any problems for a dog this size, so I wouldn't worry - she should be just fine :) She may have some mild stomach upset for the next 24 hours or so if she isn't used to eating human food like this, but she should not have any toxicity problems related to the chocolate.

I don't think this will cause him any harm. Worse that could happen is he may end up with some diarrhea. If that does occur usually it is self-limiting meaning it will go away on it's own in a day or two. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
