My puppy got a Dorito in his mouth. Is a small piece harmful?

If you can barely tell if pieces of the bag are missing then I am sure she will be fine. Watch for vomit, lethargy, not eating and belly pain as signs of a blockage. I wish Zoey the best!

There wouldn't be enough garlic on a couple of handfuls of chips to cause any toxicity issues, and Parmesan and peas are not toxic to dogs - so she should be just fine :) I would monitor her for the next few hours to be safe, and make sure she has access to plenty of fresh water since the chips were probably salty. She may have some mild GI upset if she isn't used to eating human food, but otherwise I would not expect any significant problems.

This isn't toxic by any mean but it can cause gastrointestinal upset, withhold food for 12 hours, leave the water available, he might throw up and have some diarrhea but i would not expect anything too serious.

No, this will not do any significant harm to Zeus. The most you might see is a bit of a tummy ache resulting in some mild diarrhea. If the diarrhea becomes more severe, you may have to fast him for 24 hours then feed a bland diet of chicken and rice for a few days. Hope this helps.

Lays BBQ chips are delicious, but that is a lot of chips for a dog to eat! My first concern would be that Max could get pancreatitis from it. This is a severe inflammation of the pancreas that occurs when a dog eats too much fat, and chips are unfortunately fatty. If he ate them within the past two hours, I would take him into a vet immediately to have vomiting induced to prevent him from getting pancreatitis. If it's been longer than two hours since he ate them, you will have monitor him for signs of pancreatitis. These signs include vomiting, hunched back, painful abdomen, vomiting undigested food, distension of the abdomen, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and lethargy. Hello. No, please do not worry. It is not true that dogs can get worms from eating anything sweet. She is on an excellent vaccination & worming protocol, so there is nothing that you need to do other than making sure she gets her booster vaccinations when she is 3 months old. The only foods you absolutely should not share with JoJo are grapes, raisins, onions & of course, chocolate. An occasional piece of cookie, chip, pie, lick of ice cream, etc. are all fine.
