My small dog ate a big edible Nylabone too fast. Is he okay?

As long as they chewed it up sufficiently, it should pass. Larger pieces may cause stomach upset or pose a risk of obstruction. You can monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, straining to defecate or loss of appetite. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.

I would not induce Sadie to vomit, as I would be concerned that any sharp edges from the nylabone could cause trauma to her esophagus as it comes out. The first thing to do is to feed her a slice of whole wheat bread. This should form a ball of ingesta around the pieces of the nylabone. Give her this slice of bread with every meal. The only thing you can do is monitor her for signs of obstruction, as the nylabone could become stuck in her GI tract. Signs include vomiting, anorexia, extreme lethargy, and diarrhea. If you see any of those signs, you need to take her into a vet immediately. I would also monitor her feces for signs of the nylabone, and if you don't see any signs of it in 72 hours, I would take Sadie into the vet.

I'd keep an eye on Remington for now. Given that he's pretty much acting normally, except for the vomiting, it's not something I would be too worried about at this point in time. Now if he keeps vomiting, has diarrhea, stops pooping, is very lethargic, or has a loss of appetite, then I would be worried and rush him into a vet immediately. Hopefully, however, the nylabone will be broken down by his stomach acid and pass without issue. I hope this helps!

Sounds like she got into quite the treat! Mocha may have a bit of an upset stomach after eating so much, so if she experiences any vomiting or diarrhea, you can pick up her food for a few hours and then offer her a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken to help settle her stomach (though if she ate a lot she may not be hungry for a bit!) Sometimes, dogs can eat these bones without chewing them which may cause choking or obstruction (they do digest over time), so watching out for any signs of problems such as attempting to vomit or defecate without success, coughing, choking, bloody vomiting or diarrhea, bloated abdomen, painful belly or walking hunched over is a good idea as they can indicate something more serious and urgent is onging. If she does show these signs, or seems pretty ill, seeking vet care in person is best.

At worst, you may see some vomiting and/or diarrhea. These can typically be managed at home with a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. Symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian include lethargy, persistent stomach upset, loss of appetite or abdominal pain.

This should not be a problem, however I would reduce his evening meal by approximately the amount of the treats. The worst that might happen is that your dog gets diarrhea or a tummy upset. If that happens, feed boiled white rice and white chicken for a day and then transition back to his normal food. Hide the treats on top of the kitchen cabinets!

Honestly I don't think they he is going to have any serious problems from this. I would be careful about how much water he consumes tonight. He can have a few sips but don't let him gulp down a whole bowl of water after eating all of those bones. As long as he seems comfortable, can lay down, is not dry heaving, does not have a distended abdomen that is rigid, isn't crying/moaning in pain, I think you are ok tonight. I would get up every few hours and check on him if you can. If any of the signs above develop, I would get him evaluated ASAP by a vet. Bloat is possible especially if he drank a really large quantity of water following his gorging out on the bones. Good luck with Percy.
