What if my dog ate too many Nutri-Vet Nasty Habit chewables?

Both may stimulate defecation. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water as well. If he doesn't defecate for more than 24 hours, have him physically examined by your veterinarian.

Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. If necessary, withhold food for 24 hours, allowing small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until vomiting/diarrhea resolve. If symptoms persist, consider an exam with your veterinarian.

This may cause Bruce to have a slightly upset stomach, possibly some diarrhoea for example but there shouldn't be any lasting problems as it is a natural herbal based product. In that case a bland diet of boiled chicken breast and boiled white rice may be helpful for a few days to help settle things. Wow, Ernie at a lot in one day! This could give him an upset stomach from eating this much, so I would monitor him for now. Should he have an upset stomach and starts vomiting or having diarrhea, withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then add back in his normal diet. Next time, I would give him one that is more for his size, and try not to let him eat it so quickly. Easier said than done I imagine :-)

Hello. I would be most worried about the missing plastic. The tablets might cause some Gi upset or diarrhea, but the plastic could cause some significant signs. If any of the dogs develops a bloody diarrhea, painful abdomen, vomiting or loss of appetite, do contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.
